DLTC logo

The Danish Language Testing Consortium was formed early in 1993 and brings together three organisations: Studieskolen in Denmark, The Danish University of Education and the Ministry of Children and Education

Studieskolen is a language centre which provides the administration of the Danish language tests together with other language centres in the country.

The Danish University of Education conducts research and offers research-based post graduate programmes within the field of Danish as a Second Language. http://www.dpu.dk/site.asp?p=34

The Ministry of Children and Education has an examination unit for tests in Danish for foreigners and supervises the administration of the tests throughout the country. http://www.ktst.dk/

The examinations presented are the following (in order of increasing level):

Prøve i Dansk 1
Prøve i Dansk 2
Prøve i Dansk 3
Studieprøven

The examinations can be taken twice a year at approximately 50 language centres throughout the country.
