ALTE held its 37th bi-annual meeting in Maynooth, Ireland from 11-13 November 2009. The meeting and conference was hosted by the National University of Ireland, Maynooth. As at previous meetings, the first two days of meetings were for ALTE members and affiliates, and the final day, Friday 13th November, was an open conference day for all those with an interest in language testing. Featured speakers included Language Commissioner Seán Ó Cuirreáin, Professor David Little, Professor Barry O'Sullivan, Joanna McPake, Dr Steve Coleman, Paul and Siuán Ní Mhaonaigh.
