The ALTE 55th Meeting and Conference will be hosted by Yunus Emre Institute in Istanbul, Turkey, and will take place from 4th to 6th November 2020. The conference will include workshops, plenaries and a gala dinner. 

The first two days of the meetings are open only to ALTE Members and Institutional affiliates. Friday 6th November will be an open conference day for all those with an interest in language testing.

The ALTE course in Assessing Writing in the Digital Age will take place from 1st to 5th March 2021 in Cambridge, UK.

The course will be presented by Dr Sathena Chan  from the Centre for Research in English Language Learning and Assessment (CRELLA), University of Bedfordshire and Dr Jing Xu from Cambridge Assessment English.

ALTE is organising a session of the ALTE Introductory Course in Language Testing from 8th till 12th March 2021.

The course will take place in Cambridge, UK and will be presented by Professor Anthony Green (CRELLA, University of Bedfordshire) and Jane Lloyd (Cambridge Assessment English).

The ALTE 7^th International Conference will take place in Madrid, Spain on 28-30 April 2021. The co-organiser of this International Conference will be Instituto Cervantes.

The ALTE Secretariat has arranged a special rate for accommodation at the Novotel Madrid Centre.  However, there is a limited availability so, delegates wanting to stay at the conference venue are advised to book accommodation as soon as they register.

The ALTE Forum on Language Assessment for Migration and Integration (LAMI) will take place on Friday 30th April 2021, after the closure of the main ALTE 7th International Conference in Madrid, Spain.

The theme of the LAMI Forum is: 'Mediation: from theoretical concepts to evaluation practices within the migration context'
