The “Report on the 2018 Council of Europe and ALTE survey on language and knowledge of society policies for migrants” (by Lorenzo Rocca, Cecilie Hamnes Carlsen and Bart Deygers) will be launched on a conference day at the Palais de l’ Europe in Strasbourg on Wednesday 16th October 2019. This initiative marks another milestone in the collaboration between the CoE and ALTE.

The title of the conference is “Achieving equal opportunities for all migrants through learning and assessment? Language and knowledge of society requirements for migrants in CoE member states.” The presenters include ALTE representatives, key policy makers and international experts. We are already looking forward to contributions by Waldemar Martyniuk, Michael Remmert, Elana Shohamy, Piet Van Avermaet, Ricky van Oers and the authors of the report.
